Thoughts From Work

There is no one at work today. Well, not no one, but of the roughly 10 people that I work with regularly only about 5 are here today. Including me. AND most of them are of my same level, all peers, no supervisors. So I really see no reason to get much of anything done today.

Though I do have projects to work on, none of them are really time sensitive, and if I leave them off until tomorrow or Monday I wont have to bother anyone looking for something to do. I always like to make sure I have something saved for “tomorrow”. There are some who want to complete everything on their desk by the end of a work-day. But I think that it behooves me more to make sure there is always something in my inbox, to at least give me the appearance of work.

I am craving a new ipod HARD!! I know I just got a new one and I should be happy with what I have, but since when have I been content with what I have? Its new and shiny and I want one! The funny thing is that when I was on the market for a new one I kept saying that what I wanted was the iphone without the phone part. All I wanted was a widescreen ipod. And now….man alive I want one!

Thought: I want to buy a mac, and they are currently having the buy a mac get an ipod free deal….two birds?

NOPE! The fine print says that ipod models introduced on sept 5 are not eligible. Those bastards!
